The 8th Annual Boulder County Cup Tennis Tournament
will take place on September 17, 2011 (rain date September 18)
at the CU South Tennis Courts.
Play begins at 9 a.m. (depending on the number of players)
and lasts until mid afternoon.
APPROXIMATE time frames will be:
9-11 AM 4.0 and 4.5+ players,
11-1 PM 3.5 players,
1-3 PM 2.5 and 3.0 players.
These are APPROXIMATE and will be finalized by the number of registrants in each level. Some levels may overlap and/or go into the next time period.
Eligible competitors are MEMBERS of Centennial Valley Tennis Association (CVTA),
Boulder Tennis Association (BTA) and Longmont Tennis Association (LTA)
at all levels of play.
Cost is $15 per player.
This is a fun, one-day tournament. You represent your tennis association and battle the other two associations throughout the day. Modified World Team Tennis will be the format of play. The association that accumulates the most points wins. The prize is The Boulder County Cup!
The cup is engraved and the winning association keeps it for the entire year until the next BCC.

Weather
In the event of unplayable courts due to rain on Saturday, play will be rescheduled for Sunday. If there is no chance of play on Saturday as determined by Friday’s weather forecasts, each player will receive an email to this effect with further instructions by 7 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011.
Directions to CU South Tennis Courts (map it!)
From Boulder Take I-36 east to Table Mesa exit. Take Table Mesa exit and go straight at light. Turn right at the fork in road. Pass through the open gate. Courts are on the left with parking on south side of courts.
From Denver Take I-36 west. Exit at Table Mesa/South Boulder Road and take the right fork in the off-ramp. Turn left (south) on Table Mesa. Go through the first set of lights. Proceed over Bridge (I-36). Turn left at the 2nd light. Turn right at the fork in road. Pass through the open gate. Courts are on the left with parking on south side of courts.
From the North Take I-25 south to Highway 52. Go west on 52 to Highway 119 (Diagonal Hwy). Eventually the left 2 lanes of Highway 119 become the Foothills Parkway. Take Foothills Parkway south to Table Mesa Drive. Turn right on Table Mesa and left at the light where the off-ramp from I-36 intersects Table Mesa. Turn right at the fork in road. Pass through the open gate. Courts are on the left with parking on the south side of the courts.
